Ginger Juice for Health

Have you ever tried ginger juice before?

Those who ever tried spa might probably tasted ginger juice, normally after a long body massage. I know Urban Retreat Spa gives a good one. I tried this one from Culpeper, a herbalist brand from UK, which is 100% organic and mixed together with Manuka Honey. This ginger juice can be added with water, hot water works best and drink a whole cup after meal to ease the tummy. This brand also works well as flavoring for cooking and baking as well. Roasted chicken goes well with this too!

For those who are curious about ginger and its medicinal properties, there is a wide range of benefits of ginger such as nausea, digestive problems, circulation and arthritis. Ginger oil used for massage can help relieve painful arthritis due to its anti-inflammatory properties. Ginger is often included in many herbal decongestants and can help to minimise the symptoms of respiratory conditions, colds and allergies.

You could also try and do your own juice at home. Just cut a few slices and add some water and boil it until the extracts come up from the roots. Alternatively add some sugar or honey to ease the strong taste.

The Everything Balm from Trilogy

Some name it A Little Pot of Wonders, The Balm That Does Everything, The Multi Tasking Beauty Tool and many many more.

Introducing The Everything Balm , from Trilogy which is based in New Zealand, and they have the skincare range that has rosehip oil content including other natural product which is completely organic.



How I came to know and try this was a little bit incidental too, as I was initially looking for rosehip oil to reduce my pigmentation and brown spots concerns. In case you didn't know, it's great to have rosehip oil at home too, it does wonders ; this oil naturally contains antioxidants and vitamins as well Omega 3 and 6. It's excellent to stimulate metabolic changes to the skin, reduce wrinkles and fine lines, reduce dark spots,boosts levels of collagen and helps cell regeneration. Its great for after sun too! Those who have scars might wanna look for this as well.

This balm contains marula, rosehip oil, olive oil, coconut oil, evening primrose oil, jojoba oil, wheat germ oil, honey and Vitamin E. All the good oils for the skin. Review - Kedai E-Spa

I came across this product as I was doing a quick take away dinner in PJ the other day.

My verdict : 5 STAR Product, this lady really know how to make a great lulur! I'm so happy to try a very good Bumiputera spa product. Love it Love it Love it!!

At first purchase, I decided to buy for Aira the lulur set ( Sari Rempah and Gel Zaitun)


For the second purchase, I decided to try the product myself, so here are some really wonderful stuff that I love and raved!!

Lulur Kacang Hijau and Gel Susu Kambing

Just two tablespoonful of green peas powder and two tablespoonful of goat's milk gel , mixed it together in a bowl and lather luxuriously on your dry skin. Wait for a few seconds until it settles on your skin and start massaging in a circular motion.

What I love about the product was the texture when you mix these two combo. It forms this lather and scrubs off the dead skin cells, and after that you feel your skin super soft ( thanks to the goat's milk gel) and its very smooth too. After trying it regularly for three time in a week, I noticed that the skin has improved to a softer texture, I could skin on body lotions too if I was too busy and it was the BEST body scrub I ever tried!

Only RM28 per set! Its really cheap if you wanna skip day spa treatment or slowly planning to look good for your wedding day or honeymoon perhaps. I just feel its important to look good everyday for personal motivation!

The Nutricentials - Nuskin Basics

Skincare stays as the most fascinating subject for women as the technology for beauty evolving from time to time. Although you can find a few good products in the drugstore, there are some people who would naturally be drawn to check out the luxury products over the beauty counter in the departmental store.

When I first started researching on good skincare, I came across AgeLOC, with really suits me. There are some who find AgeLOC is waay too pricey to keep up, even though the result are very dramatic, radiant, good looking skin , fresh for within. To those who are looking for the starters for beauty regiment, you could try the combination of cleanser ( milk for dry skin , gel for oily types) and the pH balancing toner and the moisturizer. I would say it is great because I'm also using the dry skin range on certain days that I just want to keep my ageLOC cleanser or moisturizer for special occasions.

The Creamy Cleansing Lotion for example, is an excellent milk cleanser that double's up as the makeup remover. Its great for both dry and oily skin, and because it is milk based, it smells heavenly and doesn't leave any residue on the face. I carry this everywhere especially when I need to wash my face for prayer (solat) and when you combine this with the Moisture Mist, it gives a long hydrating skin feel for a few hours.

Only RM68 for the ARO price, which is affordable, as good as any luxury brand and works well too!

When I provide facials to close friends, to fall in love with this too. Aira personally love the cleansing gel and the pH balancing toner because it controls the sebum for producing too much oil and prevent from future breakouts. Even teenagers can try this range too!!

If you want to have a session on trying Nutricentials range, without the spa, the facials are even cheaper, RM40 per session, plus aromatheraphy facial massage and it's really really superb!!
